Our Philosophy

We are a performance oriented studio and strive for performance excellence at every opportunity. We offer professional music instruction to students of all ages and levels. We also sponsor at least four concerts throughout the year and are involved in a number of non-profit music societies for the benefit of our students and our community.

We encourage cooperation and a sense of camaraderie between students as well as individual confidence and creativity by ensuring a stimulating and positive music environment for our students.

Minstrels music programs run from September to June. Registered students who attend all scheduled classes will receive the most benefit from their music programs. We are particularly interested in those students who are committed to regular practice times and performances; particularly students who are part of performance teams and share responsibility for their group’s success. The School views casual absenteeism as counter-productive to positive learning and contrary to our commitment to excellence. Students who are habitually and casually absent or late from group classes will be dismissed from performance responsibilities.
